Stylish Victory - From The Ngami Times

Nhabe league debutants Delta Winds aka Abafana Ba Style beat CTO 3-2 in a Nhabe regional league game played at the Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Their win moved them two places up the ladder to sixth place on the league.

It was an interesting match full of drama as CTO coach Mudongo was sent to the stands for indecency shown towards the match officials. The game started at a very fast pace, but Delta Winds proved to be too good for their opponents as they made early attempts that unsettled CTO. Delta Winds went ahead, through a ball by Sixteen Haeera who broke loose from the left flank and beat the CTO goalkeeper with a hard and low shot. CTO fought hard looking for an equaliser but Abafana Ba Style was in full control. Delta Winds scored the second goal through Terrence from a free kick just outside the centre circle to make it 2-0 before the break. CTO pulled one back through a powerful header by Moses Kobamelo after a free kick from the right flank.

After the break, both sides created numerous chances but they failed to utilise them. However, it was not long before Delta made it 3-1, this time from a goal by Ndililo “ Masitara” Buzwani who outpaced his marker and beat the advancing goalkeeper with a shot from just inside the box. CTO reduced the scoreline to 3-2 towards the end of the 2nd half with a beautiful ball by Moses.
